I spent the holidays in the wine country, visiting with family and friends. The mustard was just starting to bloom in the vineyards -- there's a mustard festival in the Napa Valley every winter to celebrate the color.
This will be my last posting for a few weeks. I've been given a grant for an 'artist's retreat,' to write and paint for a full month. I'll be staying at a small house on the Pacific Ocean, with an art studio that overlooks the sea. Watch for updates!
