"SNUG HARBOR" by Alicia Tredway
This cozy setting was painted last year in the quaint little fishing village of King Salmon which is a community designed specifically for fisherman. Instead of alleys behind the homes, there are bay-water sloughs, in which many residents dock their boats. The narrow inlet cove allowed me to observe close up the boats and houses. Most of this painting was done alla prima but a few compositional and color revisions were done later in the studio. It is oil on a 9 x 12 Raymar linen panel.
