The Lake and the Mist by Frances Kuta

This is near Loleta where if you hike up into the mountains the trees get larger and the fog is thicker. I think this one is eerie. As I sat and painted this cold mist...it felt as if the giant trees were quietly looming in and watching me. 8"x6" oil on linen panel
