Quick Study, Glass and Light


While on a painting retreat I took a break from the landscape and set up a quick study. The retreat facility had a pretty collection of little glass bottles. I took two green ones (viridian, my favorite) then plucked a few flowers from the grounds. It is always a challenge to show translucency in a painting! CLICK TO BID

    this is really nice - the translucency really works w/ the different tones of green, from purer to greyer - & i really like those soft colors together! thank you!
