Night Drums by Theresa Oats

One evening I painted this beautiful drum set at the home of a friend my husband and I were visiting. The night light and music I was hearing seemed to bring the drums to life.
I painted this with acrylics on a 7x7 inch pre-gessoed panel.

    i really like the lampshades filled to overflowing with light! the reflections on the cymbals are really lovely - fun little painting - thank you!
