Emerald Nude by Theresa Oats

The man in this pastel painting is an artist who occasionally posed for a 'paint and draw from
life group' I belonged to. He is very thin and sinewy which makes him an interesting
subject. He also painted when other people modeled for sessions.
Painted on an 18x24 inch piece of pastel paper.

    I like the ghostly quality, he seems to be emerging from another realm.

    This piece has a strong physicality! The lighting is feels like a dream!
