Lamplight and African Masks by Theresa Oats

Over a period of several weeks working one night per week I painted this view of a friend's

living room. The dramatic effect of the lamps lit from below, the shadows on the wall

and lamplight reflected in the highly polished armoire made for a compelling and challenging subject.

Painted in acrylics on a 16x12 inch prepared wood panel. Minimum bid $400.
