Brian'sPlace-Fern Court Farm

Our friend Brian Muessig invites my husband and I to paint on the property
his family has owned since the late 19th century when the home was built. The trees
were planted in the early part of the 20th century. Brian planted the 7ft hedges you
see in the painting and an orchard(of cherry,apple and pear trees) which spreads out behind me from this vantage point of of his property he calls 'Fern court'
Many of Brian's friends have requested taking their marraige vows here.

Painted on sight over a period of weeks in afternoon light. Oil on archival canvas paper,
