Farm with Mustard Field paintings by Andrew Daniel

Farm with Mustard Flowers
Oil in Wood 8" x 8" (20cm x 20cm)

Field of Mustard Flowers
Oil on Wood 5" x7" (13cm x 18cm)

I have been interested in this mustard field every year as I walk by it. This year I was able to get out and paint it a couple of times. I hope to get out there more and maybe do a larger piece. I tend to be attracted to yellows, I guess....

For more information on these two pieces, check out my Etsy Shop.

  1. Really like the way you show the land mass with design
and the feeling of air among the mustard
plants. Beautiful patterning in your depiction of those mustard fields.

  2. Love it. There's a beautiful field here in Middle Tennessee that I pass occasionally. In the spring it fills with yellow flowers. I'm just waiting (with paintbrush) for that to happen.
You did a wonderful job with a sometimes difficult color here.
