These yellow Irises multiplied all over the place this year. I must thin them out! I did this still life from a studio set up last night. I arranged a spotlight slightly below eye level then painted looking somewhat down on the scene. It created such wonderful shadow on the white cloth. It is oil on canvas panel 8 x 6 inches.
