Our westmoreland has grown to 8 feet tall along our studio wall. This rose seems togarner personality traits as the blossoms open. To my eye, the lower rose has appeared to open in a 'receptive' manner to the upper rose gazing down upon it.
I painted this outside with oils on a 10x8 inch prepared panel.
We purchased this rose at Fickle Hill Old Rose Nursery in Arcata California.
