'Loleta Pasture' by Theresa Oats

Our area is rich with wild life. As I paint out in the landscape, it's just a matter of time before
something shows up. In this case, and egret.
In wintertime, a variety of wild berries emerge, shrubbery intensifies with color and
the ocean appears off in the distance as a crisp Nile Blue.

I painted from life (plein air) with oils on a 12x 20'' lead primed white prepared panel.
