Monty's Wife by Theresa Oats

Several artists gathered in Susan Fox's studio to sketch in charcoal, color pencils or paint. Monty's wife volunteered to model which we appreciated because all the artists were
able to work on a portrait. I accomplished a likeness yet if there had been more time
I'd have painted more of her arm and included her shirt. That session was many years ago.
Now I like the
unconventional appearance of this portrait and the arm in particular because it reveals
'process'.
