Reclining Nude by Theresa Oats

I worked from life (at the Humboldt Life Drawing Group) in pastels on paper and exaggerated the various values of glowing cool colors

on the reclining woman's figure. The tones were created by the natural 'grey day' light

shining through the windows and soft florescent light emanating from fixtures on the ceiling.
