'A Day at the Beach' by Jim McVicker

With all the cold weather the past couple of days I thought a beach painting might be fitting. I was with Steve Porter painting at College Cove a few years back when I painted this watercolor. I loved painting the figures against the simplicity of the sunlit sand and the background in shadow.
