'Near Harris' pastel by Ralphie Hendrix
Late
afternoon, sun casting its’ last rays on a steep hillside covered with
dry multi colored grasses with proverbial California Oaks framing the
ridge of the hill. One of my favorite subjects to paint.
This is such a beautiful painting of "the golden Rolling hills of California" The trees are so inviting. Once you get to the top, you could throw out a blanket under the the umbrella of trees and look at all the beauty around. Jane
