'Dawn' by Theresa Oats
I painted 'Dawn' over a period of several winters and into early spring. Common birds flying over the valley were crows, ravens and turkey vultures. Once in a while a 'Kite' flew by. Their white feathers
were luminous in mid-air with the early sun light rising in the distance..
I did a very quick sketch on the painting, consisting of about 5 marks representing it's presence and worked it out later in my studio.
