'Moonstone" by Stock Schlueter

A plein Air gathering happened at Moonstone Beach yesterday, I think there were eight or nine of us. It was an event! Along with the great weather we had kids running amok, dogs barking, Frisbee tossing, tourists gawking and chainsaws. Somehow it all seemed just as it should be. The fog took just enough time to break off and allowed me to do this painting.

  1. This is a great composition, with lots of diversity for the eye to play with. I can look at this for a very long time and not get bored. Great painting, which makes me want to be there.
