It rained the rest of the first day, I drove all over doing recon work. The next morning was partly overcast and I did this one of a Barrel Cactus looking back toward Borrego Springs. The vastness of this place is amazing and to see land without it being covered with trees is like looking at the skeletal structure of the land. I love the trees and all but this is a nice change.
