'Borrego Springs' by Stock Schlueter
Once
again I went to Borrego Springs to paint in the plein Air invitational.
And once again it was a great time. A lot of work but a fine adventure,
indeed. The drive down to the other end of the state was in some of the
worst conditions ever. Sixty mile an hour winds and driving rain in
freeway traffic for hours on end. Yikes.. I arrived in the desert a
little early to get the feel of the landscape. I did this painting
during a break in the rain. It was familiar with the clouds and all.
