Come visit me at North Coast Open Studios this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday.
I worked on this large painting over a series of sunny mornings at the Ma-le'l Dunes Forest. I was really attracted to the patterns of light and cast shadow from the tree trunks. Also, the texures of the trunks were really interesting to play with. I'm interested in revisiting these ideas on an even larger scale.
