As the sun rose on Sonoma's city park the restaurants, shops and awnings glowed in contrast to the deep shadows under the huge shade trees. I painted for three
consecutive mornings in the cool shadow of a decades old magnolia tree.
I painted in oils on a 16x12 inch prepared panel. Starting bid is 500.
