"Salmon Creek", pastel by Ralphie Hendrix
Salmon Creek is a somewhat major creek that flows into the South Fork of the Eel. The creek wanders about making it’s way down to the river. It’s so beautiful that I tried to catch the light in this small painting. It’s a sketch that I will turn into a larger painting. I love the light. It’s difficult trying to capture all the many, many shades of green. All different trees and grasses can really push an artist. This painting about 7 x 5 and is matted and set in an 10 x 8 cherry wood frame. To bid, CLICK HERE.
