'Art in the Garden' by Theresa Oats

Every 2 years The Redwood Art Association puts on an event at a location where landscaping and gardens are a feast for the eyes.  Artists from the RAA paint 'plein air' and visitors wander through, viewing the grounds and the artwork as it evolves.
I painted this view of the home belonging to the patron of this year's event. I worked in oils on a 12x16 inch linen covered panel from the shoreline of the large pond stretching out in front of the house.
