"Storm's Dusk", pastel by Ralphie Hendrix

When the storms roll through Southern Humboldt late in the afternoon, the clouds will sometimes lift slightly and let some sun shine on the land. The hills above Garberville literally glow in this light with the dark purple skies behind. This scenario always stops me dead in my tracks. This is 7 X 5 matted but unframed. To bid CLICK HERE.

  1. I like your color balance, composition and that you captured
the palette we're treated to after a rain storm in our area.

  2. I like your composition and your 'after a storm' color palette
we've seen after it rains in our area.
